Concealoholic..

I have to admit: I have a thing for concealers, and when I hear about a new concealer--whether it be drugstore or high end--I just can't help myself. When I am doing a five minute make up look, I simply just use a flick of mascara and a dab of concealer on my morning under-eye circles. Concealer to me just brightens my whole face up.

Most of my concealers are creamy as they tend to give the best coverage. In my experience Mac's Studio Finish Concealer is a classic to all those makeup lovers out there, It provides a medium-full coverage, SPF 35 and is fragrance free! That's clearly why I have four shades in it... I guess I'm in hoping to do everyone's makeup using this.It also helps to pick up more than one shade in your concealer as you may want to use the lighter shade a highlighter or maybe a darker shade as a contour.

Bobbi Brown makes a wonderful line of concealers, I previously owned the creamy concealer kit which has now been repackaged. I used the own the kit that included the loose powder stacked under the concealer and I can honestly say I prefer the new packaging as loose powder can get messy. Their creamy concealer will always be a product that I will always repurchase, it doesn't dry my under eyes out neither does it look 'cakey'.

If you enjoy trying new products that may not be that easy to get hold of (unless your in the US) I would recommend the OCC concealer. It has a creamy consistency but blends beautifully, I just normally use my fingers as the warmth of my skin helps the product blend. I have the colours Y1 and Y2. I bought the concealer online so it was quite difficult to match the shades to my skin tone and Y2 was slightly too dark, Y1 is perfect though. The 'y' stands for yellow and just for reference I'm an NC20 in Mac.

In terms of drugstore concealers I love the Collection lasting perfection concealer, it really does last ...I rarely need to retouch it. I find the best way to apply it is with dough-foot applicator and then I blend it out with a Mac 286 duo fibre blending brush. Kick ass concealer by Soap and Glory is also another one to try, it's very comparable to laura Mercier's secret camouflage but less drying on the under eyes area!

Do you have any concealers you would recommend me to try?
