Eye Makeup Removers - Sensitive Eyes

Finally I've found two products that take stubborn makeup off quickly and are gentle on my eyes. Introducing two of my favourite eye makeup removers - Make Up For Ever Sens'Eyes and Talika Lash Conditioning Cleanser.

Make Up For Ever - Sens'Eyes
This remover has a gel-like consistency that melts off makeup such as waterproof mascara, eye shadow, and eyeliner. It's ophthalmologist tested for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers. When applying, I use a soaked cotton pad and gently press on the eyelids without rubbing. Alternatively you could apply the product directly to the lashes. Then use a warm cotton pad to remove any excess product. What's great about this product is that you can apply makeup immediately after using.

Talika - Lash Conditioning Cleanser
Talika's oil-free cleanser will remove waterproof eye makeup without taking out lashes. The ingredients include silk proteins, which strengthen your eyelashes over time. While it's not as creamy as the Sens'Eyes it does a good job at avoiding any damage to your lashes. I also have to add that the product is available in 50ml, now that's a lot of eye makeup remover!

  1. I've never even checked this makeup remover from MUFE in the stand. I'm curious if you noticed if using any of these products you lose less eyelashes. I don't know if lashes fallout may be related to the cleanser, just wondering.

Right now I'm just using a drugstore cleansing facial oil. It's from a Spanish brand but I've read comparisons with MAC's in which it's said that, even it takes more seconds to obtain the same results, at the end of the day it delivers the same results. But no mention on this eyelash issue.

    1. It defiantly helps with the loss of lashes. I lose way less if I remove my makeup with either of these products, I used to use makeup wipes and they were the worst for my lashes.

  2. Hi Hayley, I used to buy high ends eye makeup remove then I saw this brand called Nuance by Selma Hayek. It's amazing. Gentle and removes my waterproof mascara nicely. I got it $6 plus. CVS drugstore.
