The T3 Featherweight Luxe 2i Dryer - Review

Introducing the T3 Featherweight Luxe 2i Dryer, this Tourmaline, Ceramic, Ionic hair dryer is at the top of its game. It's also 'feather light', so you don't need to worry about the typical 'dead arm' that usually occurs after drying your hair. Reading all the claims and technical terms behind the dryer had me a little confused so I decided to unnecessarily wash my hair just so I could dry it. Now let me give you a little back story about my hair: it's extremely thick, long and takes a long time to dry. There's nothing I hate more than blowdrying my hair and honestly even though it does make my hair look more polished I try and air dry as much as possible. Sometimes I even find myself going to bed with slightly damp hair (bad idea).

Now onto my routine: once my hair is washed I typically just put it up in a clip and go about my housework. By the time I sit down to dry my hair it's around 20% dry; this routine always helps me to cut extra drying time and makes my hair easier to style. If you have thick hair I suggest you try this out whether or not you are using the T3 hair dryer. Once I've applied all my hair mists, oils and detanglers I then comb through my hair with a wide-tooth comb and begin sectioning off my hair. I'm not a pro when it comes to this and I normally just make three rough sections starting from the bottom.

In terms of style, I like my hair to look somewhat voluminous and healthy.  I use the T3 Tourmaline ceramic round brush to comb through the hair creating a bend-under at the end. I like my hair straight but not 'poker' straight. This process usually takes me 10-15 minutes when using the T3 Featherweight dryer, while with a conventional dryer it can take up to 30 minutes.

What really surprised me the most about using the Featherweight 2i is the amount of shine and manageability it gave my hair. It's almost like the feeling of having your hair dried by a professional or the feeling of running your fingers through freshly cut hair. Usually I can only achieve this look if I flat iron my hair and honestly the less steps the better in my opinion.

Verdict - I never though I'd review a hairdryer out of all things but the T3 Featherweight dryer has lifted my enthusiasm on drying my hair. What was once a boring task has become something I quite look forward to. You'd be surprised at how much of a difference it makes when you switch something up in your routine.

  1. Hi Hayley. Your hair color seems lighter. Have you changed it or is it because it's been blow dried ? Rosee de mai AKA canamiste on Instagram

    1. Hey Rosee, I think its the lighting, I haven't changed my hair. I did have some lighter blonde through the mid-sections of my hair about 10 months ago. xxx
