Shiseido Lip Lacquers

Shiseido is one of those brands that I haven't fully explored, quite honestly nothing has jumped out at me as something I need to own. It wasn't until I found out Dick Page was Shiseido's artistic director - seven years later - that I felt propelled to try their products. Now I am over the moon that I have found two little gems that I love! Introducing Shiseido's Lip Lacquers.......

Shiseido Lacquer Gloss - I believe these are either reformulated or new and are available in 8 shades. They literally tick all the boxes when it comes to finding the perfect lipgloss formula: non-sticky, moisturising and long-lasting. I'm not one for wearing lip gloss as I do think it can look slightly outdated. When it comes to gloss I either wear it with all or nothing - Dark eyes plus lipgloss or a very minimal eye with untouched skin. I have shade OR303 - In the Flesh. It's a perfect 'your lips but better' shade.

Shiseido Lacquer Rouge - I seriously NEED to own every shade, except there's 25 shades. That may be impossible. I would describe the lacquer rouge as a glossy liquid lipstick. It very much reminds me of the YSL Glossy Stain except the Shiseido is better in my opinion. The applicator tip is a perfect snug fit for your lips and the formula guides on perfectly. It even claims to improve the texture of your lips after continued application (still trialing that). I own the shade PK425 Borbon. I have a feeling I will be wearing this all summer.
