Top Picks - Nude/Pink Lip Products

Searching through my makeup collection I definitely don't have a shortage of Pink and Nude lip products. Since I normally focus my makeup around my eyes, I feel like Nude lipstick just perfects the look without over doing it. Nude lipstick doesn't always have to be applied perfectly, it can look even more beautiful when just dabbed on with your fingers. Here are my top picks.....

Jouer Hydrating Lipstick in Meredith - A creamy nude Pink with a smooth texture. Perfect formula as it's not too creamy or matte. The formula lasts on the lips and provides a hydrating treatment on the lips. It's quite opaque as well so it disguises any less than perfect cracks. Swatches Very similar to the YSL - Tender peach.

YSL Rouge Volupte in Tender Peach 26 - This was one of my very first luxury lipstick purchases, I remember walking around Selfridges in London and falling in love with the YSL lipstick packaging. The lovely sales assistant picked out this colour because quite frankly I didn't even know what suited me at the time. The texture of this lipstick is so silky soft on the lips it almost melts on application. The formula is not incredibly long lasting but that doesn't bother me as it's an excuse to get out that gorgeous packaging to reapply. Although the lipstick applies opaque it also does show through any imperfections on the lip. I do suggest applied some sort of lip treatment before hand- Bite Beauty's Agave Lip Mask.

Soap and Glory Super-Colour Fabulipstick Powdercoat Matte in Supernude - Soap and Glory cosmetics line is slightly more difficult to get hold of in the US, although some Sephora stores do stock it. This lipstick is perfect for everyday as it has a wonderful matte finish and is a universally flattering shade. It's matte but it doesn't dry out your lips. A big stamp of approval from me.

Jouer Moisturising Lipgloss in Wind - Described as a 'Creamy Pink Nude' this lipgloss is one of the few I consider a staple in my collection. The formula is sheer and gives a wash of colour on application. As the product name suggests it's loaded with Vitamin E, Shea Butter, and Jojoba Seed Oil. This lipgloss is ideal for the minimal everyday women who likes nothing more than beautifying makeup.

Mac Cosmetics Cremesheen Lipstick in Creme Cup - Mac's Cremesheen formula has to be my favourite as it's full of pigment and has a flattering not but overly glossy sheen. Creme Cup doesn't exactly fall under the 'Nude' catagory but I do consider it to be a easy to wear shade. It has a slight cool tone but screams girly Pink.
